The Website Team

The geography website is run by the Geography Internet team as part of the school's SCS (school/community service) programme. The team consists of Mrs Wijeratna, the geography staff member in charge; and year 11 student Jakub Pietrzyk.

The team meet each week on a Friday afternoon and stay until late at school to update the site and produce new content. On Field Days, the team work through the day on major site updates and additions. The geography website was the first to be created by any department and is already full of content for all years of the school. 

In the three years of operation, the geography website has achieved over 9,500 hits, officially making it the most visited site on the school network.  Our current website went live in October 2002, following a major redesign of our original version.
