Michael Morrish

Education and Teaching career
B.A. (Hons) in Geography from Exeter University, followed by PGCE at Leicester University. Teaching posts at Guthlaxton School, Leicester (1974-75), Haberdashers' Aske's (1975-83), Head of Geography at Alleyn's School, Dulwich (1983-1995). Returned to Haberdashers' to be Head of Department in 1995.

President of the Geographical Association (1995-96). Publications include: Development in the Third World (OUP, 1983); Human Geography in Diagrams (CUP); Physical Geography in Diagrams (CUP); articles published in Geo, Geographical Magazine, Geography, Teaching Geography and the Times Educational Supplement.

Paul Hayler

"Following a degree in Geology at Nottingham University (much loved and never forgotten) I came directly to HABS and have stayed here ever since. Spent 25 years teaching a full timetable of Geology to GCSE and A Level. Then returned to continue studies at University College London with a Fawcett Fellowship. Re-discovered Geography and have taught it ever since".

Michael Yeabsley

Education and Teaching career
Educated at HABS, benefitting from the fine teaching of Dr Stiff. Read Geography at Hatfield College, Durham, specialising in Physical Geography. Teacher training at Cambridge University under Rex Walford, "an outstanding man who has inspired thousands of geographers". First teaching post at St. Edward's, Oxford, before returning to HABS in 1997. Co-authored GCSE textbook Complete Geography (1998).

Educated at Nottingham University and Goldsmith's College, London University. Previously taught at Habs Girls and joined the department in 2003.
