Lunchtime live - Unplugged on the Quad - Tuesday 6th May 2008

Originally scheduled for the previous week and postponed due to inclement weather, this year’s “Unplugged” on the Quad was a spectacular affair, noted not least for the inaugural performance by Habs’ newest musical innovation: the Ukelele Orchestra.

Never before, surely, has CHH Parry’s “Jerusalem” been subject to quite such an interpretation as was witnessed by the substantial audience under the azure sky of Tuesday 6 May 2008. William Blake would have been proud, as were we all.
