"I didn't appreciate how wonderful Habs was until after I left."

In order to standardise our procedures and because of a change in the format of the English paper, we are not publishing the 2012 Mathematics Paper or 2012 English Paper on our website.
We have slightly altered the format of the 11+ English paper. There will still be a traditional reading comprehension and a writing exercise. There will be an additional section, testing the candidate’s ability to solve language-related puzzles. No specialist knowledge is required to achieve marks on this section. The language section will vary considerably from year to year and so as not to misled we are not including it on the website.
The format of the Mathematics paper evolves but is largely unchanged.
Verbal ReasoningThe reasoning paper consists of verbal, non-verbal and mathematical reasoning multiple choice questions. We do not release samples of this paper.
|Sample 11+ entrance papers|
|Reasoning||A mixture of questions on verbal, non-verbal and mathematical reasoning. We recommend the use of sample papers available from major newsagents such as W.H.Smith. It is useful to practise 2 or 3 of these papers to familiarise the candidate with the style of question, but not to overdo it!|
