Haberdashers Askes Boys School

"Haberdashers' was a lovely school, liberal yet disciplined; free-thinking - but they inspired you."

Doug Watkinson, Script writer for TV detective series including Poirot and Midsomer Murders.

Strong University offers for Upper Sixth

Haberdashers’ Boys remain at the forefront of university admission.  All our Upper Sixth Form boys have opted to progress to tertiary education (some are taking gap years), virtually all of whom are already holding an offer.

36 boys have been accepted to Oxford and Cambridge (assuming they achieve their predicted grades).  Other destinations include the universities of Nottingham (57 offers), Birmingham (40 offers), Manchester (31 offers), as well as substantial offers from Bristol, Durham, Edinburgh, Imperial, Kings, UCL and Warwick.

We wish our boys the best of luck in their examinations, and know that they bring us enormous credit when they take up their places.  One recent leaver noted that he felt the intellectual challenge had been much greater at Habs than it was at his current (prestigious) university.
