The second A level Biology Field course which took place from Friday 2nd to Monday 5th July proved to be a great success. The 34 students visited Nettlecomb Court in Somerset to learn field work techniques and collect data for their individual projects.
The clement weather ensured that the fieldwork which included sampling water shrimps in a river and measuring the length of leaves of ribwort plants in a local meadow. All of the pupils returned with reams of data to analyse over the summer holidays.
