On Saturday 21st January, the Under 16 Hockey team came out on top in a 'Nine Goal Thriller' against local rivals St. Albans School. Habs Under 16 players registered their first win of the season in fine style, playing some open, expansive and attacking hockey, as they raced into a 3-0 lead, scoring some great open play goals from Anand Patel - 2 and Rufus McAllister - 1. However, some sloppy defending just before half time allowed St.Albans to score and to get back into the game and then after the break Habs again sat back in the second half and allowed the opposition to play, scoring 3 further goals. Luckily for Habs, Ed Curtis (man of the match) had other ideas and scored two splendid goals to clinch a famous victory!
