Invitation to join HabsDash!
As some of you may be aware, the School now hosts a regular HabsDash event every Tuesday.
This is a 3.5km community run around the School grounds that is open to pupils and staff alike, run with a similar style to Park Run events. Runners compete to try and beat their personal bests and also work towards achievements for completing a Marathon, Double Marathon or more.
The boys also accumulate kilometres for their House that contribute towards the end of year 'HabsDash Trophy', awarded to the House that has run the furthest combined distance, this was won by Russells in 2019 who covered over 2000km in total.
We would love to offer the opportunity to take part in HabsDash to members of our Old Haberdashers' Community. If you or a group of you are interested in taking part in the run, and meeting some current pupils then please do get in touch with Roger Llewellyn in the Foundation Office.
If you are running you would need to be at Aldenham House by 12.30pm on the Tuesday in question where you would be met by a member of the Sixth Form. He will take you over to the Medburn Centre ready to register and run at 12.50pm.
The run is 3.5 km and there will be the opportunity to buy a drink and snack at Joe's Cafe in the Sports Centre after you finish before returning to Aldenham House by 13.35pm.
It would be fantastic to welcome Old Haberdasher's back to Elstree, you would be able to run for your old House (we'll add your kilometres on to their total!) and we will make sure that you receive a copy of the results that evening by email.
