To ensure that we give you the best possible service, it is essential that an appointment is booked for outfitting during the summer months. Please book your appointment early to ensure that you get a time and date that is convenient for you.
The shop opening hours during term time are Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.00pm (closed 12 – 12.45pm).
Goods on Approval
The School Shop operates an approval system whereby items of clothing i.e. uniform, sports kit including footwear (not stationery or accessories) over £10 can be taken home on a sales invoice and paid for the following day. Goods taken on approval that are not suitable must be returned within five working days. They must be in their original wrapping, unsoiled and accompanied by the invoice. Goods taken on approval, which are retained by parents, should be paid for by cash, credit card or a cheque made payable to ‘The Haberdashers’ Aske’s School Shop Ltd’ accompanied by the invoice.
As this service is for the convenience of parents we would appreciate your co-operation regarding approvals.
We reserve the right to refuse goods taken on approval.
As in any large boys school, lost property presents something of challenge. Large amounts are regularly collected, especially from the changing rooms and the sports hall, and items are often unnamed.
Please make sure your son has a clearly named, appropriate sports bag. Carrier bags are not acceptable. It is also imperative that all individual items are named including bags, shoes and sports footwear and that your son is aware of the lost property opening times, which are daily, morning break 10.40 am – 11.05 am and 1.30 pm - 1:45 pm. To reduce the volume of lost property, please ensure your son takes all his belongings home at the end of the day.
We will email all boys, who have an item in lost property, once a week. This is to ensure named items are collected by their rightful owners.
Unclaimed, unnamed items will be given to charity at the end of each half term. This includes mobile phones, jewellery, iPods and all items of clothing and footwear.
