In February this year, Jatin Gupta (U6S2) won the Regional Round of the European Youth Parliament (EYP), and was selected for the EYP National Finals which took place in August.

We are proud to share that following Jatin’s exceptional performance in the National Finals, he has been selected for an international EYP event which will take place in February 2022, in the Netherlands!

From Jatin: “The EYP National Finals was an enriching and intellectually stimulating experience for me. I was able to further my knowledge, debate and propose a resolution on the topic of Artificial Intelligence and algorithmic bias, something that I feel is so prevalent in today’s world. Throughout the five days, I was closely judged by a panel of three jury members, who assessed me during both committee and general assembly sessions.”

“Two weeks after the National Finals, I was thrilled to hear that I have been selected for an international event in February 2022, in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands - I am very excited and looking forward to this international EYP event.”
