The School would like to congratulate Shuaib (7C) who has succeeded in becoming one of the ten finalists in the National 10-14 years Young Game Designers Award, hosted by BAFTA!

He has already passed through the first two rounds of the competition and his work is now showcased on the YGD website.

The winner will be announced in a virtual Young Game Designers Award Ceremony on BAFTA platforms on Thursday 8 July 2021.

Shuaib has been a regular attendee of the Game Development club, as part of our Computing Society, hosted by Maxim (L6S1) every Tuesday at 5.30pm via a Teams call. The School are hoping this can return to face-to-face sessions next year.

Shuaib is delighted to have got so far in the competition and said: "I would love to thank Maxim for introducing me to this amazing competition and teaching me all the skills I needed in order to make my game."
