School Community Service (SCS)
The school takes seriously its commitment to development a sense of community through our School values of Humility, Wisdom and Integrity. One of the ways we do this is by working with local organisations to add value to the work that they do with some of the most vulnerable in society.
Our School and Community Service (SCS) programme enables our boys to put into practice these values. It provides pupils with a chance to volunteer and contribute to the wider community. This enables the boys to develop great communication skills and improve their ability to problem solve and work as part of a team. The SCS programme at Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ school is offered as an alternative to CCF for years 10, 11 and L6.
There are a wide range of activities available, which are all timetabled as part of the boys’ enrichment programme. The normal range of school and community service opportunities include the following. Please note that some of these activities are not running due to current Covid-19 restrictions.
