School Community Service (SCS)
The school takes seriously its commitment to development a sense of community through our school values of Humility, Wisdom and Integrity. One of the ways we do this is by working with local organisations to add value to the work that they do with some of the most vulnerable in society.
Our School and Community Service (SCS) programme enables our students to put into practice these values. It provides students with a chance to volunteer and contribute to the wider community. This enables thestudents to develop great communication skills and improve their ability to problem solve and work as part of a team. The SCS programme at Haberdashers’ Boys’ School is offered as an alternative to CCF for Years 10, 11 and 12.
There are a wide range of activities available, which are all timetabled as part of the students’ enrichment programme. The normal range of school and community service opportunities include the following. Please note that some of these activities are not running due to current Covid 19 restrictions.
