Wills and bequests

Haberdashers’ Boys’ School was established in 1690 to provide the education of `twenty poore boyes’. In doing this, a philanthropic tradition was created and continues to this day, allowing transformative legacies and bequests to continue to support the school.

By leaving a legacy gift to Haberdashers’ Boys’ School you will be providing vital support to future generations. You can leave a legacy to the school to invest wherever our need is greatest or specify a project or passion such as bursaries, the performing arts or sport. For more information about leaving a legacy to Haberdashers, you can view our legacy booklet here.

If you have already included Haberdashers in your will, we would be very grateful if you would consider letting us know about your legacy plans. You may do so by contacting, the Director of the HABS Foundation, Roger Llewellyn (OH 1983) on 0208 266 1964 or foundation@habsboys.org.uk

Those who have informed us of their intention to leave a legacy to the school of their intention are recognised through membership of The Dr TW Taylor Society. For further details please see the legacy brochure.

It was Dr Taylor’s far-sightedness and imagination that led the school to relocate to its current site in 1961 and which laid the substantial groundwork enabling us to become one of the leading independent schools in the United Kingdom.

Please pledge your support to The HABS Foundation in your Will and share in Dr Taylor’s vision of the future.
